Ideal is the premier supplier of state-of-the-art direct-drive electric motion systems. These systems feature high-torque, direct-drive DC brushless motors that provide a very attractive “torque to weight ratio” when compared to electric “brush-type” DC drive motors.
Ideal Aerosmith electric flight motion simulators are configured with the AERO 4000™ Digital Motion Controller. This controller is Ideal Aerosmith’s flagship controller and an essential component of the larger Ideal motion simulation systems. Our AERO 4000™ Controller is built upon commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software platforms to minimize cost and delivery schedules, as well as to provide Ideal’s customers with a product that does not lock them into proprietary technology and single-source part vendors.
Built from the ground up for configurability of both hardware and software, the AERO 4000™ is the most robust controller available for performing high-dynamic HWIL missile and guided munitions flight simulations.
