In 2010, Ideal Aerosmith opened a facility located in Grand Forks, North Dakota – just 10 minutes from the former East Grand Forks, Minnesota, location, which opened in 1984 and specialized in the design and manufacturing of precision motion control applications. Through lean manufacturing methods and a focus on work flow, Ideal Aerosmith has been able to combine these two facilities into one. In the fall of 2015, the Grand Forks facility was modified to allow more efficient assembly of motion products and to accommodate the East Grand Forks employees.
