The Ideal Aerosmith 1231 is designed to apply a large centrifugal force to a payload. While this can also be accomplished with a single-axis motion simulation table system, a centrifuge is typically required for applications with larger payloads, and/or higher G requirements. The 1231 tests from 0 to 200 G’s at a 44-inch (1118 mm) radius. Payload capacity is a 24 inch cube (610 mm) at 200 lbs. (91 Kg) per arm.

Ideal Aerosmith centrifuge solutions are used in many industries, including aerospace, automotive, geo-technical and the military. Often this is in the qualification testing of accelerometers, inertial packages or safe-arming devices (fuzes).
