The Ideal Aerosmith 1068-1 is designed to apply a large centrifugal force to a payload. While this can also be accomplished with a single-axis motion simulation table system, a centrifuge is typically required for applications with larger payloads, and/or higher G requirements. The 1068-1 tests from 0 to 100 G’s at a 22-inch (559 mm) radius. Payload capacity is a 12 inch cube (305 mm) at 50 lbs. (22.67 Kg) per end of arm.

Ideal Aerosmith centrifuge solutions are used in many industries, including aerospace, automotive, geo-technical and the military. Often this is in the qualification testing of accelerometers, inertial packages or safe-arming devices (fuzes).
