1231 Centrifuge System

Ideal Aerosmith 1231HP Centrifuge

The Ideal Aerosmith 1231 is designed to apply a large centrifugal force to a payload. While this can also be accomplished with a single axis motion simulation table system, a centrifuge is typically required for applications with larger payloads and/or higher requirements. The 1231 tests from 0 to 200 g’s at a 44-inch (1118-mm) radius. Payload capacity is a 24-inch cube (610 mm) at 200 lbs (91 Kg) per arm.

Ideal Aerosmith centrifuge solutions are used in many industries, including aerospace, automotive, geotechnical, and the military. Often this is in the qualification testing of accelerometers, inertial packages, or safe-arming devices (fuzes).
