Dynetics recently selected Ideal Aerosmith to supply a Single-Axis Automatic Positioning and Rate Table System. Dynetics will use the Ideal Aerosmith Model 2001P with integral LN2 Thermal Chamber in the development, production, testing, and characterization of a multi-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). The system will be installed in Dynetics’ new hardware prototyping facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The 2001P is a high-dynamic, high-precision system. The motion table utilizes a brushless motor for high torque and an optical encoder for precision feedback. The table is coupled with Ideal’s patented AERO4000™ motion controller, providing the most advanced and capable digital servo controller on the market.
