Ideal Aerosmith announced today that it is manufacturing a non-magnetic, fully automated, three-axis motion simulator with thermal chambers for leading energy services provider, Halliburton. The Trip Guardian 2203 will be used to test Halliburton directional drilling tools and instruments before they are deployed into the field. Work has already begun, and the Trip Guardian 2203 for Halliburton is anticipated to be fully operational by the end of 2014. Ideal Aerosmith will be responsible for manufacturing, installing and calibrating the Trip Guardian 2203 system, and once it is in service, the Trip Guardian 2203 is expected to be used extensively by Halliburton calibration personnel.

“This relationship is a prime example of two companies working together to produce something more than the sum of its parts,” says Jason Eder, business development manager for the oil and gas industry at Ideal Aerosmith.
