Ideal Aerosmith is pleased to announce the promotion of Bruce Kopp from controller to vice president of finance. He now becomes a member of Ideal Aerosmith’s senior management team and is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting department, risk management and insurance programs, as well as its financial planning. “I’m thrilled to accept this promotion and to contribute in new ways to Ideal Aerosmith as part of the senior management team,” says Kopp. “The accounting department is often considered to be a recorder of historic events, looking at past figures and reports. But at Ideal Aerosmith, we’re a forward-thinking company, and that includes the financial team. I plan to help our company to keep moving forward to the benefit of our customers.”

Kopp joined Ideal Aerosmith in 2010, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in financial and business management. Before joining Ideal Aerosmith, he served as the chief financial officer for a contracting company and also worked for a large electric and natural gas utility, handling its business planning and strategic development. In addition, Kopp also served as a lobbyist, working at both the state and national levels.

Kopp is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant. A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, he is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a degree in business management. Kopp works out of Ideal Aerosmith’s Grand Forks, N.D., location.
