To get the most of their MEM sensors, one manufacturer turned to Ideal Aerosmith to overcome the effects of temperature instability and harmful acoustic noise during calibration.
Gary Kleven
Gary Kleven is the director of engineering at Ideal Aerosmith. In addition to a mechanical engineering degree from North Dakota State University, Kleven has more than four decades of engineering experience, including time with Melroe Company, the original manufacturer of the Bobcat skid-steer loader. He has worked at Ideal Aerosmith since 1987.
At Ideal Aerosmith, Kleven oversees the engineering department, providing direction on product designs, planning activities for assigned projects and establishing priorities to ensure on-time delivery. “The most interesting part of my job, I think, is working with design teams to come up with unique solutions for our customers,” Kleven says. “Our ability to think of innovative ways to solve a customers’ problem and then execute a custom solution effectively and efficiently is one of the things that sets us apart.”
