Replacing the control electronics of an old rate table or centrifuge system with a new generation digital controller and modern servo amplifier system is a sound investment.

The frame structure, motors, encoders, and bearings of most table systems have a much longer useful life than the control electronics. Thus, an electronics upgrade can be a cost-effective alternative to the purchase of a new system.

An Ideal Aerosmith controller and servo amplifier upgrade can provide several benefits:

• Improved reliability and supportability
• PC interface capabilities via GPIB
• Improved accuracy, acceleration, and tracking performance

During the course of the upgrade, Ideal will evaluate the condition of other critical components, including slip-rings, feedback devices, bearings, motors, tabletops, etc. and will recommend repair or replacement where necessary. All refurbished systems are fully calibrated before return-to-service.
