INERTIAL NAVIGATION TEST SYSTEMS

Ideal Aerosmith services, refurbishes and upgrades our own line of simulators, as well as motion simulators, positioning tables and rate tables built by other manufacturers, such as Carco Electronics™ and Contraves®.

We can provide upgrades for all existing controllers by implementing the Ideal Aerosmith AERO 4000™ Control System (LINK).The AERO 4000 Motion Controller is built upon commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software platforms to minimize cost and optimize delivery schedules.

The AERO 4000 Controller also provides customers with a product that does not lock them into proprietary technology and single-source part vendors. It is designed to be a universal controller that can replace all older table controllers from a variety of manufacturers.

While many existing tables have mechanical systems with an operational life of 20+ years, the life cycle of various electrical components are usually only about 10 years. The field-proven AERO 4000 Controller is designed and built to have a service life of 20+ years and incorporates a number of COTS components to provide a migration path for future upgrades.

We have the following options/services available for table systems or centrifuges built by Contraves®, Carco Electronics™, Genisco, Goerz or other manufacturers:

  • AERO 4000 Controller Upgrade
  • Extended maintenance / service contracts
  • Clean and re-grease bearings
  • Clean armature / replace motor brushes
  • Replace / recondition Bearings
  • New consoles / cabinets
  • New servo amplifier
  • Replace / recondition feedback devices

FLIGHT MOTION SIMULATION SYSTEMS

We can provide upgrades for all existing controllers, such as the obsolete MPACS & MADES controllers, by implementing the AERO 4000™ Control System (LINK). The AERO 4000 Controller is built upon commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software platforms to minimize cost and optimize delivery schedules.

The AERO 4000™ Motion Controller (LINK) is the ideal solution for replacing the aging or obsolete control electronics on older flight motion systems and rate tables.
