Ideal Delivers Five-Axis Flight Motion Simulator

2455H Flight Motion Simulator

Ideal Aerosmith successfully completed the customer acceptance testing of the Model 2455H-ER Five-Axis Electro-Hydraulic Flight Motion Simulator (FMS). The customer was very pleased to receive a system that exceeds their requirements and was delivered on time. During a recent visit to Ideal's facility, this customer stated that Ideal was very easy to work with and Ideal's cooperation contributed to the success of this project.

The Model 2455H-ER FMS is one of Ideal's standard systems capable of producing a variety of flight scenarios for testing and evaluating seeker/guidance systems. The Five-Axis FMS is a versatile system designed to accommodate two interchangeable electric inner axis drive assemblies that will accept a variety of test articles. The first inner axis drive assembly is designed to support a "Nominal" payload and the second will accept a "Maximum" payload.

Ideal Aerosmith to add Grand Forks, North Dakota location



The grand opening of Ideal Aerosmith's new 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space in Grand Forks, North Dakota is planned for the first quarter of 2010. The new facility will consist of both manufacturing and general office space. Renovations are taking place now!

New Cryogenic Ball Valve Assembly offers Enhanced Low-Temp Product Protection

Cryogenic Ball Valve Assembly Ideal Aerosmith is pleased to announce the new Cryogenic Ball Valve Assembly. This assembly enhances the level of reliability of LN2 cooled thermal chambers, while decreasing the chance of damaging the unit under test due to extremely cold temperatures. The valve is designed to be used in series with solenoid-type primary and/or secondary active temperature control valve(s) on a thermal chamber. In the event of a chamber low temperature alarm, the high-torque ball valve closes, cutting off LN2 flow.
