Modular Approach Results in Versatile Test Table System

The Ideal Aerosmith Model 1291BR was released in 2002 as a cost-effective motion test solution for emerging MEMS development applications. Seven years later, the field-proven 1291BR has evolved into a modular platform capable of performing a broad number of tests for a wide variety of applications.

The newest option is the addition of an LN2-cooled thermal chamber on a manual tilt stand. The LN2-cooling utilized in the 1291T-TL gives the user the advantage of superior ramp rates as compared to mechanical refrigeration, as well as the ability to test in a horizontal axis configuration, an option preferred for accelerometer and tilt sensor testing.

Ideal's modular design approach results in shorter lead times and a more versatile test table system. There are numerous options available for future upgrades as well, allowing your test table system to be configured for various programs. Options include the following:

1291BR Pedistal
  • 2 standard motor torques (for various acceleration/bandwidth requirements)
  • 4 standard tabletop diameters
  • 2 standard slipring packages
  • Tilt Stand
  • Pedestal for floor mounting
  • Mechanical refrigeration-cooled thermal chamber
  • LN2-cooled thermal chamber

Short lead times, easy to set up and operate, reliable performance, and support from a reputable and well-established motion-simulation table system manufacturer are just some of the reasons why the 1291BR is still the choice for MEMS inertial sensor and package testing applications around the world.
