Fourth Generation AERO 4000 Motion Controller©
Ideal Aerosmith will be releasing its fourth generation motion controller later this month. The AERO 4000 is a complete PCI solution offering performance that is unmatched in the industry.
The AERO 4000 is based on commercial off-the-shelf technology with proprietary software developed by Ideal Aerosmith. By leveraging COTS hardware, Ideal Aerosmith is able to provide state-of-the-art performance at the best value in the industry. The AERO 4000 is a scalable, modular controller that can be adapted to various applications from single axis electric machines to 5 axis hydraulic flight motion simulators.
During upcoming newsletters we will be featuring different aspects of the AERO 4000 that set it apart from other motion controllers that are available in the industry.

Bob Mitchell presents paper
At the SAE 2006 Automotive Dynamics Stability and Controls Conference in February 2006, Ideal Aerosmith's Bob Mitchell presented his paper titled "Motion Test Simulators for Automotive Dynamics and Stability Control". The MEMS revolution in inertial gyros and accelerometers has likely had no larger and immediate impact than that which it has had in the automotive industry. As a result, motion simulation test equipment originally designed for testing aircraft sensors can now find applications in the automotive industry testing airbag fuse sensors, yaw rate sensors, roll rate sensors, vehicle stabilization systems, anti-skid braking systems, active suspension sensors, adaptive cruise control and navigation systems. To respond to this need, Ideal has designed scaled-down single and multi-axis table systems designed specifically for testing MEMS sensors for these applications.
Ideal Services & Supports Legacy Systems
At Ideal Aerosmith, we are committed to providing optimum solutions and responsive support to our customers. That is why Ideal services and supports legacy Rate Tables, Centrifuges, Flight Motion Tables, and Target Motion Systems previously manufactured by: Contraves / Benton / Goerz / Genisco / Carco Electronics / Trio-Tech Motion Tables.
