Mark Bean Accepts Software Management Position at Ideal Aerosmith

Mark Bean, formerly with L-3 Communications Integration
Systems (Greenville, TX), has recently joined Ideal
Aerosmith, Inc. as Software Engineering Manager. Mark will
office at Ideal’s facility located within the REAC 1
(Research Enterprise and Commercialization Park), Grand
Forks, North Dakota. http://www.undrf.org/
Mark’s engineering experience was acquired during eleven
years of developing airborne surveillance programs for both
domestic and international customers. For the past two
years, Mark served as an Engineering Product Manager where
he coordinated development, software integration, and
delivery tasks on a program for the British Ministry of
Defense. Mark has also participated in process improvement
initiatives with L-3 during the past several years on their
road to an SEI CMMi assessment.

Mark holds a Masters degree in Software Engineering from
Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX (2006), along
with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from South
Dakota School of Mines & Technology in Rapid City, SD (1997)
